What happens if my baby doesn’t go to sleep for the photo session?

Don’t worry. If your baby wants to be wide awake for it’s photo session, then that is fine. We will roll with it. It may make some of the poses a little harder if they’re wriggly but there is certainly lots of poses we can still achieve with a wide awake babe.

How long will my newborn session take?

I allow 3 hours for newborn sessions. It might not take this long but in some cases it will, so it is better to have too much time than not enough. So please ensure you don’t have anywhere to rush off to within the 3 hours of your appointment.

Do I need to bring anything to my newborn session?

I have everything you should need for your newborn session, from headbands and hats, to swaddle wraps, props and lots of backdrops. I need you to bring lots of milk, muslin cloths, nappies and a dummy. You’re welcome to bring your pooch as well.

How does the Cake Smash and Splash session work?

So with the cake smash session, when you book in I need to know what colour scheme you’re going for so I can set up the background accordingly. You will need to provide your own cake.
On the shoot day, we will capture some clean imagery before the cake smash, then messy time smashing the cake, and then we will pop your little one in the bath and splash until they’re clean. These make for the most perfect birthday presents for your little 1 year olds.

Can you do a cake smash from my home?

Unfortunately not, all cake smash and splash sessions take place at my beautiful studio in Horsforth, Leeds. Besides, this way I have to do the tidying up and you can walk away with a clean baby and no mess in your house hehe.

Can my 3 year old get in some cake smash pictures with my 1 year old?

Yes, of course! I would encourage you to get some of your 1 year old on their own to commemorate their birthday, but of course your 3 year old can certainly help do the smashing.

Can I have a second photographer, but Package I?

You totally can. You can add a second photographer to any of the wedding packages. There is a charge of £300 for a second photographer, and I book your wedding photographer from a large network of very trustworthy wedding photographers that I am a part of.

Will you travel to Spain to photograph my wedding?

YES! Of course I will. There is no limit to where I will travel to to capture a wedding. I would have to adapt my package accordingly though, and travel/accommodation costs will be incurred.

How many wedding images will I receive?

Oh, well I take SO many images on your wedding day. Usually around 3000 per wedding. I then cull this down to the best 800-1000 images and that is how many you will receive. There are certain factors that might affect this number, such as the weather, the number of guests etc, but average 800-1000 images.

How long will a Sitter Session take?

I book out an hour in the studio for Sitters. They shouldn’t take any longer than this. They’re usually pretty easy sessions.

Do I need to provide the outfits for a Sitter Session?

Yes, you should bring up to 3 outfit changes for your little one’s sitter session as well as any favourite toys or teddies. Ensure you bring a drink/snack for your baby to keep them happy throughout.

My child is sitting up, but is a little bit wobbly - is this ok for a sitter session?

I would recommend you wait another few weeks just until your baby is confidently sitting up un-aided. The last thing we want to happen on the day of your shoot is your baby wobbles over, bumps head and gets all upset.

I’m really nervous about posing on the engagement shoot.

A few nerves are natural, when i’ve had photoshoots of myself in the past I get the same feeling. However don’t worry we will try and find a nice secluded area where you’re not surrounded by an audience and we will capture the most natural of imagery, so you won’t even realise you’re posing.

Can we bring the dog on our engagement shoot?

BRING ALL THE PETS! I’m such an animal lover. I love it when dogs are included on engagement shoots. They're such a huge part of the family I think its important they get their time to shine too!

Of course, I will go wherever you wish, however please be aware that the further I travel the more I will have to charge.
